Class Details

We care about you. That's why St. Luke's is dedicated to improving the health of our neighbors. To help you stay healthy and well informed, we are pleased to present programs, screenings and support groups designed especially for members of our community.

Individual and Group Diabetes Education  Taught by our certified diabetic dietitians and certified diabetes nurse educators  Cost: There is a fee for this service.  Location: Diabetes Care Center, 5871 Monclova Road  For information, call 419-897-8376. You need a referral from your doctor. For your convenience, our staff can fax an order sheet to your doctor. Check with your health insurance. Some private plans and Medicare cover this service after deductibles and co-pays. The Diabetes Care Center is conveniently located on the campus of St. Luke's Hospital. Use entrance one.  To help best manage your diabetes, the Diabetes Care Center offers classes Monday through Saturday. And, for newly diagnosed patients, we provide a special educational series that includes four classes and two hours of one-on-one education with a nurse and dietitian.  Classes Offered On:
