A Personal Emergency Response System From Your Friends at St. Luke's Hospital Most people entering their "golden years" couldn't imagine living anywhere but in their own homes. Unfortunately, many older adults are challenged by physical limitations. St. Luke's Hospital offers a program that allows people to remain in their homes, yet obtain emergency assistance at the simple touch of a button. Lifeline is a personal emergency response system that keeps people in constant communication with St. Luke's, a friend or a neighbor for emergency medical help. There is a nominal fee for the Lifeline service. But, it's a small price to pay for living in the comfort of your own home.
Volunteering Opportunities Also Available Lifeline is simple to use - and easy to install. If you'd like to help others, you could become a Lifeline volunteer and install these units in homes. For more information, call 893-5988. Return to Senior Services |
