Better Breathers Club Diabetes Support Group Man to Man Mended Hearts, Chapter 100 Sleep Apnea Support Group Staying Tobacco Free This group, affiliated with the American Lung Association, meets on the third Tuesday of most months at 1 pm. Upcoming meetings will be held on Aug. 17, Sept. 21, Oct. 19 and Nov. 16. Members share their experiences, knowledge, ideas and strengths to improve the quality of each others' lives. Adults who suffer from asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer and other respiratory problems are invited to attend. Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been living with diabetes for some time, this support group gives people with diabetes and their family members a forum for sharing ideas, concerns and feelings about living with this chronic disease. The group meets the third Monday of each moth from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Diabetes Care Center at St. Luke's Hospital, 5871 Monclova Road. This prostate cancer support group, affiliated with the American Cancer Society, provides an opportunity for men dealing with prostate cancer to talk openly about their concerns with others also facing the disease and health care professionals.
