Keeping employees healthy and on the job

Occupational Health Services Whether the tools of your company's trade are chisels or computer chips, St. Luke's Hospital Occupational Health Services can keep your employees well at work.

St. Luke's started its program in 1989 with an emphasis on personalized service. St. Luke's OHS now provides various programs for hundreds of local companies. Some have just a handful of workers, while others employ thousands. All receive services that have been tailor-made for their individual needs, whether they are in the field of manufacturing, service, health care, transportation or skilled trades.

Our programs fit your specific needs

St. Luke's Occupational Health Services offers several programs designed to meet your special needs. They include, but are not limited to:

  • Treatment and management of work-related injuries.
  • Pre-employment, annual, DOT and hazardous materials physicals.
  • Drug and alcohol testing.
  • Infectious disease and medical surveillance programs.
  • Independent medical examinations (IMEs) and specialty exams.
  • Worksite wellness and employee safety programs.
  • Sports and school physicals.

Specialists in occupational medicine

All of this care is provided by specially trained and experienced physicians, nurses and support staff who have a focus on occupational medicine.

We also realize that not everyone's work ends with the 5 p.m. whistle. St. Luke's Occupational Health program offers injury care and drug/alcohol testing services 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week, at one convenient location. Ancillary services, such radiology, pulmonary care and physical therapy are available, as well.

Every program offered through Occupational Health Services is backed by the experience and resources of St. Luke's Hospital, northwest Ohio's only independent hospital.
