The St. Luke’s Hospital Better Breathers Club support group is designed to give you and your family the education, social interaction, resources and other practical help you need to live effectively with shortness of breath and related disease management.
No matter what stage or type of breathing difficulties you have, this group is for you.
Better Breathers Club Members Include Patients and Families Dealing with:
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD)
- Shortness of breath due to restrictions from obesity, neuromuscular diseases, chest wall diseases, etc.
- Lung Cancer or Nodules
- Chronic Bronchitis
- Pulmonary Embolism
Practical Help with Breathing Easier
If you suffer from asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, lung cancer, or other respiratory problems, you know how frustrating it can be not to be able to breathe easily. At the Better Breathers Club, you’ll find others who are dealing with the same issues. People who have found ways to cope with the frustration and improve their breathing.
The Better Breathers Club is affiliated with the American Lung Association and is dedicated to discussing ways to effectively live with respiratory ailments.
