Sometimes You Get More Than You Give.
The caring efforts of St. Luke’s Hospital volunteers constantly inspire us to do even better for our patients and visitors. We know that volunteering at our hospital is an important way for some members of our community to give back. Hospital volunteer work touches the volunteer as much as it does our patients and visitors.
If you have some time to spare and you’d like to give back to our community by aiding patients and visitors, or through the fundraising efforts of the Auxiliary at St. Luke’s Hospital, we invite you to learn more about our volunteer opportunities.
Please take a few moments to check out some of the ways you can be a part of our commitment to our community through volunteering at the hospital.
Are you looking for an opportunity to serve others and strengthen your relationships within our community? The St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary is a diverse group of women and men who bring their own unique set of skills and experiences to enhance services to our patients, staff and visitors. The mission of the Auxiliary is much the same as it was back in 1938 when 12 friends began an auxiliary service group to support Robinwood Hospital. Today, we know that group as the St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary.
According to many of our auxiliary volunteers, the greatest benefit they receive from volunteering is a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping others. The gratification of making a difference in people’s lives comes from a determined commitment to provide unwavering service to St. Luke’s Hospital in a variety of auxiliary capacities.
The St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary sponsors a wide variety of fundraisers and community services throughout each year and continues to provide invaluable support to the Hospital.
Auxiliary events and projects may include:
- Blood Drives
- Gift Shop
- Craft Sales
- New and Used Book Sales
- Uniform Sales
- Team Projects
- Lights of Love
- Mother’s Day Plant Sale
