St. Luke’s Family Medicine Residency
We employ a multidisciplinary approach to medical education that provides important training in all aspects of family medicine including academic medicine, sports medicine, osteopathic medicine, community medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, care of ambulatory and hospital patients, practice administration, patient education, obstetrics, and global health medicine. We offer six residency positions for each post-graduate year. By joining our nationally recognized residency, you’ll take advantage of:
- Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) with Osteopathic Recognition
- Knowledgeable faculty with diverse expertise
- Educational and practical experiences based at St. Luke’s Hospital
- Patient management and interaction with a multidisciplinary team that includes a psychologist, social worker and clinical pharmacist
As of July 1, 2018, our residency was accredited by the ACGME and obtained Osteopathic Recognition. The centralized location is home to a multidisciplinary team of experts and serves as an educational resource for physicians, residents and clinicians.
And it all happens in the greater Toledo-area – a great place to live, work and raise a family. You’ll discover that the area has everything you need: arts, culture, entertainment, education, and career opportunities.
St. Luke’s is investing in the future because we know it’s important to have a physician who will care for you and your family.
