A Leading Heart and Vascular Center

St. Luke’s Heart and Vascular Center is a leader in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of heart and vascular disease. Recognized for world-class excellence, we provide care that ranges from medical management of heart conditions, to the most complex arrhythmia management procedures and advanced cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.

Our passion is to continually improve our seamless system of heart and vascular care for our patients and their families, from screenings and outpatient clinic visits to advanced hospital care, rehabilitation, disease management and lifestyle changes.

Excellence runs throughout our heart and vascular program. When you trust your heart health to St. Luke’s, you’ll have access to superior physicians and surgeons, state-of-the-art technology, and some of the most advanced programs and services in the region.

Cardiac Expertise and the Latest Technology

The St. Luke’s Heart and Vascular Center provides low- and high-risk cardiac catheterizations, as well as elective and emergent angioplasty and interventional procedures. St. Luke’s physicians perform open-heart surgery for coronary artery bypass and valve repair. Our Center allows for patients undergoing high-risk catheterizations to move directly to cardiac surgery, if needed.

We’re continuing to refine an innovative procedure called Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Procedure (OPCAB), during which the cardiac surgeon performs a bypass procedure on a still-beating heart. With conventional bypass surgery, the heart is stopped and the patient’s blood flows through a heart-lung machine. This leading-edge procedure is less traumatic to the body and eases patient recovery.
